Smith is back to the US custody

Ever been insulted? It feels so bad, right? Try being being insulted in your own country by your own government, I assure you, it feel so much worse!

I am not supposed to write anything else until next year to complain how the air here has been polluted because my neighbors just couldn’t keep their hands off the high calibre firecrackers, I sure hope it would be taken literally so they would have to take one of those New York Cosmetic Surgery. However it seems that they’re too careful for my comfort. I know it’s bad but hey, they’re so annoying!

Moving on, I was reading lorelle’s wordpress blog about finding content for your blog, because I know that I seriously need it. So upon checking the first tip, I opened INQ7.net because I’m more interested in what’s happening in my own backyard when lo and behold! The banner that INQ7 sports is that the rapist has been given back to its own country’s custody. Hurrah to US and the Arroyo government, it just goes to show that you can NEVER, EVER be safe in your own country.

Why?

A Filipina woman has been raped for God’s sake! Her convicted rapist has been tried and proved without reasonable doubt that he indeed used her drunkeness to sexually abuse her, and all our fucking government can say is that VFA is important and let’s think of the aid their government will be withhelding from us. Great, just great! And when you’re at it, why not think of the other women they’re gonna rape next! That would be just perfect!

With the coming election just a few month’s away, one would think, (I’m actually expecting that our government would make it a point to let the people know that they have our interests in their rotting hearts. But no! Of course, the might and bright US government has to be the focus of all their unflinching and undying devotion!

Think about this, suppose a number of Filipino soldiers have been sent to the US to have a supposed training of sorts. And during this training of sorts, one of our soldiers have been accused of raping an American woman, can our government exert that much effort just so our soldier can have a comfortable life while his case is being appealed?! Can our government easily say to the US government that they will be pulling all of the Filipino soldiers from the States and stop supporting all of the anti-terrorism schemes tricks plots they have?

Of course they can’t! Why the hell should US care if and when we stop supporting them?! Fuck it, I’m so pissed with this! Why can’t our government care for our sake, just for a change, huh?!

I just can’t believe that I can never count on my own country to fend for me suppose someone abuses me. I don’t have that much confidence in my government but I have never seen them to go this low before. It’s like… being spitted on the face by a stranger. I went to my mother to tell her what he did to me, she ignored my pride and instead gave the offender the best and most comfortable chair in the house!

Scary thought. Really, really scary.
