I’ve always loved to surround myself with people way better than me and more knowledgeable, that’s because I have a feeling that their knowledge would rub off on me (hahaha). Kidding aside, I would like to learn new stuff and I couldn’t possibly learn them all by my own that’s why groups and forums are really helpful!

So here are the groups that I have joined for the past few months, I don’t have anything to blog about anyway… I tried looking for a Philippine usability group but there was none, I thought of creating one but I’m not a good admin hehe (hint, hint), anyway, I encourage you to join any one of them to gather new ideas or just to meet new people.

A great group to belong to, it’s just starting so it’s not as active as it should be.

Philippine Web Accessibility Group

I was surprised one day when I got a lengthy email inviting me to join their accessibility group, of course I didn’t think twice. I have to learn lots of stuff and it’s great that I will be learning alongside people who really know their stuff.

I don’t know where I found this group… Maybe in one of the groups, if not there, then maybe Philweavers.

SEO Philippines

The first group I ever joined, that was when I was still working for my former boss, I figured if I have to continue doing the position they assigned to me I have to learn something. Of course, it would be very good to learn from the “leaders in the field”.
