The blogparteeh aftermath
I feel so social these days, I met up with my former officemates last week and stayed up until 3 am while they are getting drunk and I’m getting sleepy and picked on, then, I met a total stranger during the week and I didn’t chicken out at the blogparteeh07!
I’m glad I didn’t backed out on the said event while I was getting hopelessly lost at Makati because it taught me a couple of things.
- I am really horrible with directions, just imagine, I got off at Buendia some 30 minutes past 12 in the afternoon and I was only able to arrive at the venue at some minutes past 1! Imagine being lost for almost one hour, when I am already within the vicinity of the area?! Splendid!
- I must learn how to read the directions properly, I got off at Buendia and I did not came from Taft so why should I be reading directions for people who will be coming from Taft?! Stupid really.
- I have to thank those three (are they cute? I can’t remember, possibly, that’s why I secretly hoped they were bloggers as well haha) Mapuan guys who “tricked” me that they were also bloggers that’s why I was able to get off at Mapua along Nicanor Garcia Street. I wasn’t able to see the Yamaha sign thingy, see these eyes? They really can’t see everything, you know?!
- There’s nothing wrong with asking people with directions because that was how I was able to see the venue!
- It’s a must to have the exact address of the place I have to go to, I can’t believe I wasn’t able to remember that the venue is poolside, and that it’s a condominium, duh! Who would rent out their room for strangers to party on?!
- Not all footbridges have pink and blue motif, some are just plain, dull, doesn’t have stairs and just… well, bridge-looking thingy used to… well, cross what else?
- My memory really sucks, I know I met a lot of people, I was even at the registration booth but the only people I remembered (of course aside from the people who are already well-know) are Joni, Liz, Aaron (my dailies), Shari (fellow Standardista and PWAG member), Geri (he’s just so lucky I want to kill him haha), Eugene, Chris, Apples, Ganns (c’mon, it would be impossible to miss him though he did not mentioned me in his post! hmp! haha), Genesis (because I’m pretty sure I know him from somewhere… he looks familiar, must be in the days when Kwebgimo was still actively blogging, but I can’t be sure though), Noel (how can I forget him I was sitting beside him at the registration booth!), Luis (well how can I forget someone who said my site looks nice?! haha), JOMAR (he did say I’m adorable! And I believe him because he’s a Christian, says so in his blog! He’ll never lie, bwahahaha) and umm… if I miss someone that’s because you’re too special I don’t want to let everyone know how special you are to me hahaha!
- I want to be problogger someday… or equally famous! haha Do you think bloggers have some form of ADHD in them? Hmm… If I were to base my answer on me, I think umm, yes, somehow.
- Good things happen to those who wait, I got a two dozen deal gift certificate from Krispy Kreme which I already claimed this afternoon at Megamall! When I got home, my brother told me “Achie, God really knows what we need and want!” (haha) Right!
- I’m not as clumsy as I thought! I went home very dry and in one piece!
- Magic is REAL! Enough said.
I think that’s all, if ever I forgot anything then don’t blame me. My memory only has a definite capacity, I think it can only contain 500MB of memory and the rest, pft! LOL, what a geeky joke. Umm, it is a joke OK! You’re all required to laugh. :)

I’m horrible with directions to, but it’s because I’m “spatially challenged” (that’s what my First Year Urban Planner professor said about me, hehehe!)
