February Events
So here I am, in front of the PC during Valentine’s Day, I would’ve wrote something about love and how bitter I am now that it’s Valentine’s Day and I don’t have any date but my computer but it’s so consuming, I couldn’t piece two coherent sentences anymore, help me I’m stumped!
Anyway, it seems that 2007 is a year of EBs and events, there was the blogparteeh last January and February, methinks, is the month for SEO. There will be two events by SEO Specialists for SEO Practitioners, oh, and there is also a blogging awards contest that starts today!
Ituloy angSulong Awards Night
Finally, the night that all Ituloy angSulong contestants are waiting for, the day when the winners will be announced, who will be the lucky guy (or girl)? This will happen on February 23, 2007 at… the venue is not yet announced, but I think it will be in Metrowalk area, wherever that is hehe. I’m thinking if I’ll attend though, some people are asking me if I will and I always them I don’t know, well, first I don’t know anyone else, second I’m not a contestant, nor am I that good with SEO, I don’t know, I guess I’m just shy. Or maybe because I don’t have anyone to go with, hmm.. come with me, whoever you are? hehe
CSS and PhP 2-Day Workshop
Now this is what I want to attend, the CSS and PhP and AJAX 2-Day Workshop that will have Benj Arriola, Mike Lopez and Jason Torres as speakers for CSS, PhP and AJAX respectively.You can register and see the rates for this workshop at mediaXchange and read the whole thread dedicated to this at SEO Philippines Forum. Philippine Blog Awards
Now this is, I think, one of the highlights of the year, the Philippine Blog Awards, recognizing the finest in the Philippine Blogosphere. Nominations are now open so why not go there and nominate your most favorite blog or your own. What are you waiting for? Nomination is only until February 28, 2007!
Do you know any other event I might be interested in? Well, there are SXSW and Web Directions North, but it’s too costly I will not be able to afford that! hehe :P
