Do you own the internet?

I was so pissed today because we had power outage for three four consecutive days! The last two days lasted for almost the whole day, in my anger I immediately went to SM Fairview to rent there (which by the way is so pricey to think that their connection is so crappy, our residential DSL connection is even faster than theirs!).

While I was working, three women sat beside me, obviously renting as well. I didn’t mind them that much, even though they could wake up everyone with their loud voices, until someone said: “Bubuksan mo na ba ang internet mo?” Obviously, the girl asking was referring to the other’s inbox… But why internet? Haha

I can’t help but look at them then. I wanted to stare at them until they realize how stupid was their remark but I decided against it. It made me cool down though! hahahaha Gotta love the technologically-challenged (I just made it up, there’s no such thing! There is such a thing! :)) people, they have no idea how funny their statements are! :D

They’re a bunch of n00bs. Don’t they know having just one internet is sooo 2005? I have at least 6 internets right now so that just in case one of them breaks down or becomes clogged up, I’ll have spare ones to use.

Lol. There are so many people in our country who use the internet but are internet illiterate. I know lots of people who works at internet cafes but they don’t know how to troubleshoot their computers. There are also some customers who ask for the assistance of the owner/s of the internet cafe on how to use the webcam and headset. People are so lazy to read, you know. Reading (of course, with comprehension) can save you from looking stupid.

I remember this one - the only one - computer shop in our area, with only one computer. The owner asks for PhP25/hour internet. Pucha, makita-kita ko internet card lang gamit! Grrrr!

I hereby proclaim that I am technologically-challenged, haha! Just to save face when an embarrassing thing happens in the near future. :p
