I was tagged by Riz and Gail in this very timely meme (Gails’ right, there seems to be a lot going around. *sigh* I also have a pending meme from Jozzua which I haven’t done yet. It’s just so hard, you know! hehe

I’m late as usual. Sigh, I wasn’t able to feel the usual “Independence Day” jitters. I have to agree with Alex when he said that “I think she [President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo] should be castrated for confusing our children especially if we get kids growing up celebrating June 11 as our Independence Day which will not be an unlikely scenario.” Although I have to say that what I have in mind is quite more brutal.

I hate having to change the standards because of something that is more like a whim. So what if Monday is sandwiched? Let it be! It’s better that way than having to let the kids learn that we will have our Independence Day sometime in the second week of June or worse our Independence Day is whatever day that falls under Monday, 2^nd week of June.
