Blogger’s Block
This is the one of the reasons why this blog doesn’t have any recent posts the past few days. That and the frustrating problem we’re having in terms of our power supply. I noticed that when I’m so mad I couldn’t blog properly until after the incident. I don’t know if it’s because I might blurt out from bad to overly offensive remarks. Or maybe it’s just because the madness (this is spartaaaaa) sorry, couldn’t resist, /heh I was feeling was so much I couldn’t string two coherent sentences together without throwing epithets after every word.
Hmmm… Maybe it’s because my life was boring (as if it ever became exciting, huh?) for the past weeks, you know, what can I tell you aside from I re-read the guide to Noli and El Fili while I was making the time go faster. It didn’t. And that HTML books can really teach you a lot, but why do they have to be so boring? Why can’t they write something like Web Standards Solutions? They can’t? OK.
Or that I am now officially blacklisted in Meralco’s call center (I think) for losing it, well it’s been days already and they haven’t taken any actions yet, what do you expect?! That strengthened my resolve to never, ever go into the call center industry no matter how profitable, economically, that profession is according to my extended family. I have a short temper and I happen to be the worst customer whenever I’m so frustrated and mad as hell, specially if the one I’m talking to couldn’t give me a definite answer. Err, well the bit about “Do unto others…” can be very hard sometimes.
Or that I really hate hospitals and I don’t like staying in them. My aunt had to be confined at UDMC last week so they could take the gallstones out of her body. I had to go there so my other aunt could go home and change. While I was there, I realized (wow, I have stories to tell after all!) why I hate hospitals:
- It smells of death and uncertainties.
- It smells like medicine cabinet and I hate medicines, specially taking one.
- It has a lot of ghost stories. And I’m scared of ghosts
Please excuse my ramblings, I find this very relaxing (talking a lot but not really going anywhere) and I do miss this. Blogging these past months have been, weird. Always thinking “Will they like it?
” or “Is this appropriate?
” or “Will I get comments for this?
” (hehe) Shallow, I know.

Am I the only one who reads text messages with tones? As in, if the message have exclamation marks (!) then I would read it as such. I don’t find it odd — well, it can be frustrating if the person you’re talking to always puts exclamation point after every sentences. Kinda! Like this! Isn’t this annoying or what! Maybe they’re just being animated but. It’s annoying! Phones have periods too, you know? Use it.

Is the number of suitors enough basis to call oneself “beautiful”? Or is it just a proof that you look pleasing? Though I’m wondering how can someone be pleasing to the eyes and not be beautiful. *sigh* I must be losing my mind for real, I’m contradicting myself now.
Anyway, maybe I’m just taking things too seriously these days. It can be a joke and I have mistakenly thought of it as being cocky. I really should start stopping myself from assuming things, it’s bad and gets me in a lot of useless trouble.

Lastly, before I retire to bed…
Fantastic Four has to be the second worst movie (Epic Movie being the worst, I can’t believe I actually expected a lot of laughs from that stupid movie) I watched this year. I don’t think it has any climax. It didn’t made me think, well that is aside from wondering whether it is Jessica Alba because it looks like her, only it can’t be her. I really waited for the credits to roll just to be sure, and what do you know — it is her! Being blonde doesn’t suit her then.
Just in case you’re wondering, yes I couldn’t think of anything to blog about right now.
Well, I think you got over your blogger’s block with your last post. ;) As proof, I can specifically respond to three things in your post:
1. Exclamation marks drive me crazy, too. You have a right to demand periods.
2. I always put “beautiful” and “look pleasing” in the same category. Is “beautiful” more beautiful than “pleasing”? Or is beauty pleasing already? ;)
3. Haven’t seen Fantastic Four and will not. No one has anything good to say about it. And yet it brings in 54 million dollars the first weekend? Weird.
Sometimes the little things in life are the most interesting to blog about… Keep it up! We’ll still comment. :)
I, too don’t like the smell of hospitals. Feeling ko lagi akong mahahawaan ng sakit, paranoid haha!
Hay, kape kape.
Writer’s block daw tapos ang dameng nasabi eh. Haha. Isa lang solusyon jan bakla. Tama si Liz. Kape kape! Chika chika! Tawa tawa! Now na now na! (Haha! Ang saya magexclamation points! Parang pasigaw lahat eh! Cool!)
Now this is what I call “rambling”. hehehe! Text message do come with discreet tones. Kaya nagkakaron ng misunderstandings between couples at kung sino-sino pa eh. The other takes it differently than what the other one intends it to be taken. lol.
