You Had a Rough Start

  • You woke up very, very early and as usual, told yourself that you need “5 more minutes” then you woke up two hours later
  • You got your favorite top on and was able to spot your favorite bus (that was fast and comfortable) then halfway in the travel to the office, you realize that you left the laptop’s adapter at home
  • You’re creating a text message to one of your officemates to tell her that you will not be in the office as promised when your phone died because your battery ran out
  • You cannot forget what happened last night when you went to one of the fitness centers for consultation then asked for “Sarius” only to realize after the session that he is “Vernon Marin” (what the hell were you thinking?!) You looked up for his name in your mobile phone (where you put his name after your conversation in the phone earlier) when you got home and saw that you put ”Vernon Sarin“ there … Nice, eh?
  • You got in a tricycle where a woman with mono block chair had occupied, you still got in against the voice at the back of your head because you want to get home so badly. During the ride, you argued with your self:

Me: You should’ve walked! That’s exercise too, you know?
Myself: Yeah, I can walk then have my shoulder replaced by the end of the day because of the laptop’s weight!

    Really now.

  • When you finally got home, you find yourself with a mild headache
  • And it’s just 10 in the morning!

While I was thinking about these things on my way back home, I realized that I shouldn’t be so negative what with all of the stuff happening in the blogosphere these days so I should be optimistic and think of things that will make me happy. With that in mind, I thought that those things happened for a good reason and that at least:

  • I still woke up, sure it’s two hours late, but am I not used to it by now?
  • I didn’t get in to a very slow bus that would stop and wait at the mere sight of a shadow only to realize one and a half hour and 2 kilometers later that I left the adapter at home
  • These scenarios did not happen:

I was hit by a vehicle and will be forever doomed in a wheel chair or worse …
I was hit by a vehicle but I’m safe — however, the laptop is damaged beyond repair (oh the horror!)

  • The woman sitting beside me at the jeepney was just wondering whether I have a business or am studying at “Riverbank” or &ldquoBurbank” (I don’t know where she got those places) and was not out to rob me or worse - wants to take the wanton noodle I bought for my mom
  • It did not rain the moment I stepped out of the jeep or bus or tricycle
  • I was concerned about my health (or more about my weight?) and want to do something about it, however the fitness center’s fees are a little steep and I must save up for it first so I can join them after three years. Hopefully, the prices are just a little steeper then.
  • I was not the one the blogosphere is ganging up against hehehe

There, I feel better already! To make me feel better and hopefully, you too! Let me part with this very inspiring message.
