Goong Manhwa
Goong is another cute and dramedy manhwa (made in Korea), it’s familiar because there are already 2 series in the same title (though in the Philippines it’s called “Princess Hours”), I don’t know if they’re as good as the manhwa I doubt it though.
Korea does not have a monarchy anymore but the premise of this manhwa is that there’s still one. It’s about Lee Shin and Shin Chae Gyong’s life in the palace that’s full of intrigue and malice.
Lee Shin and Chae Gyong don’t really love each other at first, that’s because their grandfathers only set them up because they (the grandfathers) were such good friends. Chae Gyong never knew it until the time has come to fulfill the pact, she was a little loose and had a hard time conforming to the palace guidelines. She became sickly and sad but since she fell for Lee Shin she promised that she’ll do everything that the palace dictates.
The relationship between Chae Gyong and Lee Shin is not perfect but they’re slowly getting there, but when Lee Shin’s cousin, Lee Yul, came to the picture it became worse. Lee Yul loved Chae Gyong too and he overheard the current King telling Lee Shin that Lee Yul was supposed to be the real heir and not Lee Shin because the deceased King told him to make it so but because of his selfishness, he didn’t.
The Queen overheard him too, when she saw Lee Yul and realized that he knew too, he blackmailed the Queen into having Chae Gyong divorce Lee Shin. And the latest chapter ends with Chae Gyong agreeing to divorce her husband. :(
I tried watching Princess Hours but I find it too boring arrgh :/ And I don’t think it’ll have a conclusive ending because surely they wouldn’t want to spoil the ending for people who hates spoilers or the story of the series is somewhat different from the manhwa, sigh.
Why are these mangakas taking soo long?! Grr hehe And I’m too frugal to buy these mangas online, hehe haaay…. I just can’t wait for everything to be finished, I hate this feeling of suspense!

Heheheh… Bwahahah. Mwahahahah! I have a copy of Death of Superman. I just wanted to say that :D. Although the one we have is the compiled thick version and not the individual ones (which are more expensive in the market). It was so sad…
Anyways, good manga choices. Although I find that Shinshi Something Cross (Gentleman’s Alliance in the Viz version) boring.
You might also want to try: Skip Beat! and Tramps Like Us.
