Lastleaf Northern Ireland: Day 1 & 2

We arrived safely at the Philly airport a little before 7p... with minimal issues we got through check in, security and to the gate without a hitch. After a 6 hour flight and losing 5 hours we arrived at Dublin Airport at 8:15a. We got to see a dear friend Brooke Sheesley, as she has been an intern for Journey Community Church Antrim for over a month already!! Then we met up with Pastor John and Gary to drive us to Antrim to get brunch and take a wee nap.. (that's my N. Ireland coming out already!) We got going again by meeting at Pastor John and Rachel's house for a meeting about impact week and we had dinner there... We heading to their new space 15D in downtown Antrim. We had a fairly quick orientation and then had an amazing time of worship together with the folks of Journey Antrim. It was great to reconnect with a lot of dear friends. After the time of worship we had the opportunity to pray with each other and believing God for an amazing week... Some great individual stories already! My oldest daughter Summer started by praying with me and a few other people... she is a joy to watch... her passion is contagious! Then we saw the park near 15D where all the young adults hang out! God has amazing miracles planned for this week... and an extremely bright future for Journey Antrim!! So thankful to John and Rachel Ashe for their friendship and heart for this city! Our Lastleaf team is amazing... so proud of each one of them and it's only the first day here!! More great stories to come!!
